Response

Today in class we went over all of our past designs in Vox, and I realized how everyone, myself included, always wishes that they would have done something at least a "little different" to their designs. It is really interesting because everytime I take on a new design, I always try to put together something I will really be proud of, but after designing and redesigning and redesigning something, I find myself slowly becoming frustrated and eventually settling for something, either due to deadlines or lack of energy, that I am not completely satisfied with. So, my new goal:) is to try to start designing as soon as I receive story info so that I have an opportunity to design and leave the design alone to think about before going back to it again. Maybe I will be more pleased with my work months after if I take a new approach to the way I begin and plan...at least I hope!!!
