This week while designing for our websites I have thought a great deal about perceptions and what types of things can be inferred simply through design. I designed my website with bright pink and black, with various shades of pink as a color palette and white accents, which I think is pretty, but after looking at my site, realized it looked very similar to something a 13-year-old girl would probably create. Of course, as I am not 13, I am a little bit disturbed my the type of personality that my website conveys. Besides not being completely satisfied with my design anyway, I am going to redesign my website. Hopefully it will look better and more accurately display my personality as well as design!
